Transformative Technology needs Innovative Policy

Advances in artificial intelligence, data center development, and semiconductor manufacturing are unprecedented and daunting for the average American. We realize both the economic incentive and harm of such technologies while also balancing environmental considerations. Americans deserve clarity from semiconductor fabrications and data center developers on how these sites will impact communities. Similarly, Congress, the President, and courts must begin to grapple with what twenty-first century labor looks like in an era defined by AI. We do not have all the answers but are adamant that AI must serve Americans, not the other way around.

We are advocates for data center and semiconductor development conscious and respectful of environmental and social constraints, ethical use of artificial intelligence, advancing high-skill American manufacturing, and a future in which AI tangibly improves the livelihood of Americans.
