Securing Sustainable, Affordable Supply Chains
The North American Free Trade Agreement secured an era of cheap prices for all Americans at a cost to American workers in manual labor and low-skill jobs. COVID then exposed an over-reliance on these imported goods. Deteriorating trade relations with China puts advanced manufacturing at risk of further contraction. Future American livelihood is reliant on rebuilding a robust manufacturing base and durable domestic supply chains while solidifying long-term trade agreements for vital materials.
We are advocates for subsidy programs rebuilding domestic manufacturing capacity, sustainability targeted import policy, and renegotiating trade agreements to meet updated twenty-first century ambitions.
